Dear Linda,
I know this weekend was rough. Your hubby leaving on deployment tore an ache in your heart that no one can fill but remember he is coming back. This isn't your first rodeo and if you made it through 25 years of this BS already...you CAN make it through a few more. Now this time is different....your home alone BUT see it as an opportunity to do what you want, when you want, and however you want. Take advantage of this free time to focus on you. YOU GOT THIS and you know it! It's just gonna be a bumpy first few days...that's all. Don't focus on worrying about everyone else. You know the kids (mini adults) are doing just fine and the love of your life is going to to do his best to communicate as often as possible.
You'll catch your rhythm soon and when you do...WORLD WATCH OUT! :)
Let those emotions out when you need to but always go back to knowing that you are strong, you are capable of anything and this is growth.
See you on the other side okay! You'll see that you'll have so much more to be grateful for in the end. I believe in you.
