Dear FutureMe, Happy 26th Birthday! I hope this year has been filled with happiness and adventure. We are sitting on the couch in Grandma's spot right in the middle of watching "The summer I turned Pretty." Today was a pretty good day. Though I had work and barely slept, It's been decent. The hag was only in the office for two hours, but I didn't let it bring me down. When I tell you this year has been full of ups and downs, it's been a mother ******* rollercoaster. The job is excellent, but the people aren't. You're back in grad school, which may be the quarter-life crisis, or maybe it's the wisdom tooth pain you're currently in. I just know that, though I am still stuck in this house with the same **** people, something is waiting for me. A bit ago, I thought of how it would feel to drop everything and go to Mallorca. I might have housing, and I have a good amount of savings. I could get a job as a waitress or work as an assistant. But then I thought, 'Finish everything you started here, and then go.' So, as you continue to move through the world, I have some advice. That light you fought so hard to keep, nurture it and let it grow. Never let anyone strip away your confidence and strength. But do think on this: Do you know who you are? Happy birthday and love actually, You're 25-year-old self
