Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday! I hope you have a beautiful day spent with those you love and who love you. I had our pregnancy confirmed at our PCP's office on our bday, what a birthday gift right? So... we are pregnant! I'm so excited and also so sleepy and sore and kind of queasy as well. Joshua and I are so excited most of all and we cannot wait to tell our families about our baby! We plan on telling my parents and sisters this weekend and I'm so nervous! I can't wait to share this news with them, and I can't wait to tell Joshua's family as well. I hope baby is healthy and I've been mindful of what I eat/drink, do, and all that. Right now, it's still so early, my app says 4 weeks, so baby is a tiny embryo, but I feel so protective of it already... so weird right? Like where did this maternal instinct come from and how so suddenly lol! I just want baby to grow and be healthy and I'm so excited to be a mommy! Joshua and I will have to get rid of his gaming room for the baby, unless we look for a house but that might be too overwhelming right now. We were also talking about getting married, so that's something I have to look into now too. So many things happening and changing so so very fast, but I'm truly excited and grateful for it. Joshua and I will be amazing parents, and our baby will be so loved. I feel so weird typing this and saying that I'm pregnant, it doesn't feel real and I feel like I'm too young still lmao! I'm literally 28 years old, so I think I'm old enough for sure, I just feel so weird, like a dream. I'm also a bit anxious that something bad will happen and we will lose the baby, which is also why I am a bit hesitant to tell anyone yet, but I'm trying to remain positive and manifest a healthy and safe pregnancy. My next appointment is scheduled for that 2nd week of October, so in 5 weeks. I'm hoping they'll do an ultrasound and maybe then everything will feel more real. Either way. I'm so excited for this new journey and I'm ready to be the best mommy ever! For you reading this, baby should be like 4 months? I hope baby is healthy and happy and that you are healthy and happy and being a great mommy. I know you'll do amazing, and I love you!
