A letter from September 1st, 2025

Dear FutureMe,
hey!
days seem to get a lot better after what happened on january 31, 2025. it’s a lot more quiet, that’s for sure. but i know… it’s been tough to push that memory in the back of my head. there’s still days where i think about it and the relapse can get bad. as much as i miss… you know who and the past, it’s best to let go right? i do so by distracting myself as best as i can.
with that being said, i decided to go to college! the first week wasn’t so bad. it was just going through syllabi lol. well, i’ve already ****** up my eng 100 grade, but i can hopefully pick it back up with the essays! i cannot fail this, especially with the scholarship i got.
i’ve also started drawing again! since i’m taking photography as my major, there’s a lot of artistic work that comes along with it so i thought that i should get back into the habit of drawing you know?
i’m still currently working at the cat cafe. i just love the cats so much. makes me miss my lulu girl and timber a lot. i hope you’re still working there now as well! i think with college happening, i’m okay with working there for as long as the cafe stands.
it’s hard doing things by myself, especially when it comes to adulthood. it will be just me, myself, and i in the end, but i know i can push through. besides, you have all the time in the world to figure out what to do! don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. i know deep down, you will have a purpose in life. or maybe not lol, who knows? just live your life to the fullest and have fun!
