Dear FutureMe,
Dear Tanishka,
It feels strange to write to you like this, knowing that when you read these words, six whole months will have passed. I wonder what kind of person you’ll be by then.
Right now, I am still in the middle of figuring things out—school, friendships, and the little interests that make each day unique. I hope you’ve grown more confident in yourself, without losing the curiosity and openness that define you.
Have you kept up with the things that bring you joy? The anime marathons, the small inside jokes with friends, the comfort you find in the little worlds you love? I hope so. They are part of what makes you, you.
But I also hope you’ve discovered new parts of yourself—maybe a hidden talent, maybe a new way of thinking, or maybe simply a quiet strength that comes with time.
Six months is not forever, but it is enough to take steps forward. I trust you’ve used the time well—whether to chase something you want, or simply to rest and grow at your own pace.
Whatever has changed, I hope you’re proud of yourself. And if not, remember: you still have more time.
With care,
Tanishka
