Dear FutureMe, Remember that everyone at work remembers that you are a foreigner trying to make your way through a Japanese work culture. After yesterday's massive feeling of defeat, a small talk in the toilet today saves you. It turns out that even their own people aren't 100% sure what customers really mean because of how they are so overly polite! For the time being, each day may chip you off a little but I hope it chips your ego off and not your self confidence. You overcame a lot but that doesn't mean you are unstoppable; meanwhile you are also not a burdensome useless bum. Drill. That. In. Do your utmost best, eat yummily and healthily, sleep well and enough, watch things that make you laugh lots. Work is important but there is only 1 of you. You are responsible to take care of yourself because no one else would. Now go take that long shower, and go through that full skin care process. You deserve a goblin mode weekend.
