Time Travelled — about 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe,Now I understand Carol B, that woman who hated you in your first job.She hated you because you were everything she wanted to be or thought she had been one day: young, happy, open and full of life. The reason I can say this without modesty, it’s because I miss it.And, missing it, I remember how much it is worth.I remember who I used to be and that I haven’t been like that for some time now.I want to always be unapologetically full of life.People tried to dim my light and I allowed it. I started to think it’s not ok to shine like that, because people get uncomfortable.Great news, you are here to live your life to the fullest, and not to fit in people’s expectations. But, with time passing and being hurt, you started to be less. You didn’t want to be too much. But you are! You’re not a fog, you’re a storm. You’re not a spark, you’re a volcano. You’re not ok, you’re outstanding.Stop telling you lies about yourself and about how you should behave to fit “society”.Because what we call “society “ is just people you don’t know. You don’t care. You don’t want to live with.Remember those old times when you were you and you knew some people disliked you, but you more than knew, you felt some people loved you, admired you, were inspired by you.Be that person again, to you.Because you deserve it.You are fine. You always wish the best for everyone and this is genuine and pure and selfless.Don’t let people make you believe otherwise. You know who you truly are since day 01.Don’t be Carol B.Be loyal to yourself.Be loyal to that little girl who went through hell to make it possible for you to live and choose openly.Do what you love, be with who you love. **** everything that doesn’t matter. **** what doesn’t bring you joy.with love,(I would say "your old self", but you know we don't believe in time linearity)
