Dear FutureMe,
Hello! Congratulations! You graduated! I can't wait to find out what amazing things I'll get to do in my gap year.To answer some questions from the last email, yes I did end up going on another LoveWorks trip. It was in Ecuador, it was medical, and Brittani led it! it really sucked because I had to leave early for Soph's wedding, but I'm still glad I went. I learned A LOT. I am very pleased to say that study abroad was amazing!!! I'm so grateful I went and I made a really good friend in Abby😁 also research went well again. I was on ADEPT this year, but I actually kind of missed TAMS haha. The people I had to work with were quite draining, and I liked the freedom with TAMS, but oh well.Right now I really feel the Lord drawing me closer to Him. I'm not really sure why, but I feel like something big is coming. I've been reading my Bible everyday and praying first thing when I wake up. There's also a lot of rapture talk about September 23rd or 24th I can't remember. I'm interested to see what happens when that date passes lol. I felt God telling me that it’s not my time yet, whatever that means, so either way, I feel like I’m staying lol.
Do we ever finish reading the whole Bible? That’s something I really want to do right now. I hope you’re still consistent with your Bible. If you’re not, you should be. You feel so much better when you read it everyday. I hope we get to go on MercyShips in our gap year. Do we go on another LoveWorks trip? Do we get to go on a grad trip? I really hope we do. I also really hope my Dad gives his life to Jesus. That’s something I’ve really been praying for lately.
Oh did you take the MCAT yet? How'd that go? Part of me feels like I'll be taking two gap years soooo idrk yet but we will see. It just doesn't feel real yet. Are you applying to med schools? What's your top choice? Have you done any interviews yet? Are you going to go to Oktoberfest in Munich? Please say yes. We need another use for that dirndl! Lol anyways, I'm sure whatever you're doing is being done after much prayerful consideration, so I trust it's God's will and therefore will very fruitful. Thanks for listening, see you next year!
