Dear FutureMe,
I know that high school wasn’t the most easiest, happiest or best time mentally or physically but you made it, now you’re in college, no more having to deal with the people who couldn’t stand since you were younger, or the boys who said you were ugly because you said that you didn’t like them or told them no, no more being stuck in boring Chesterfield, SC where there is nothing to do. Now you’re an adult, now you can have a fresh new start you don’t have to be the quiet girl who was afraid to talk or ask questions because you were scared of what people would say if you did speak up or worry about people making fun of your voice or saying that they can’t hear you, now can and will be different. You made it to college and I am so very proud of you was it easy no, but you made it and that’s all that matters, you’re in a new place where you have more and new opportunities, meet new people and new friends.
