Dear FutureMe, I’m making an action plan for my four major ESS goals: Internal Assessment, External Assessment, Extended Essay, and ESS Projects. My plan for the Internal Assessment is to complete a full draft and submit my final version; I will start by choosing my topic early, conduct research, and complete my experiments and data analysis, knowing that time management and balancing other IB subjects could be obstacles. For the External Assessment, my plan includes reviewing content, creating a weekly study timetable, and joining group revision sessions, while managing stress or burnout may be a challenge before the exam period. The Extended Essay requires that I outline, research, write, and edit, making sure to narrow my research question and stay motivated throughout the process. For my ESS Projects, I will break the project into sections and set mini-deadlines for proposal, first draft, peer review, and final submission, knowing that team coordination and project setbacks could make it harder. I’ll check my progress monthly and adjust my schedule if I’m falling behind, and reach out to teachers, mentors, or classmates for support as needed. By following this plan, I believe I can meet each goal and make meaningful progress.
