Dear Audrey,
August 22nd 2025,
I hope you are doing well!
By now it should be the end of your senior year. How exciting/scary is that?
As of right now, I am sitting in the library, with my romance novel on the table writing this letter. I have sent letters to my self via this website before and I am excited at the prospect of doing it again.
When looking into the future I hope a couple things for my journey as a writer. First, by the end of this class I hope to have developed my skills further, helping me for college and my writing career to come. Next, when I look even further out into the future I hope to see myself as an author or journalist. I am hoping to major in journalism and perhaps make a career out of that while stilling writing my novels on the side. Hopefully some day "on the side" won't be on the side anymore. I am curious to see where this course takes me, I have never taken and online class. Writing doesn't scare me very often except when I have to share my work and my thoughts and emotions go from my head to on paper to someone else's eyes that makes me feel very vulnerable.
I hope you had an amazing senior year, Audrey, and I hope all of your short term goals came true. If not, there is always next year and the scary future to come.
Love as always,
Audrey.
