Dear FutureMe,
I hope you're happy with whatever version of yourself you are on this day in 2026. I hope you've figured out a first step toward setting goals for yourself to improve, without shaming yourself for not already being that. Today in 2025, I feel lost spiritually and professionally with no clear path forward for either thing. Possibly, this is where I need to be, so I hope I see the fruit of this down time a year from now. If I"m still at my current job, I hope I have a team to be a part of. And not just a team that dreams of what it could be, but decides on a path and makes it happen. I hope I've found some spiritual guides to interact with, and I've been content enough with where I am to lead others. I am not that now. I hope I've embraced getting older as 60 looms. I hope I'm making others' lives richer and brighter. Because I am good at that, actually, when I stop thinking about myself. Go easy on yourself, FutureMe.
