Dear FutureMe,
Here’s a copy of the letter you wrote by hand in case you lose it as I know that you probably could.
I know that this may make you cringe reading a letter from your 18 year old self as much as I do writing this. I already see things I can probably change with this as I write but oh well. Maybe this thing will help you remember this. I wonder how life is now. Have we moved out yet? How are things with our boyfriend? Do we still do that strange writing thats a mix between cursive and print? How is our family life currently? Is it better than it is when I wrote this? Before I forget have we decided on moving with our dads and going into psychology or maybe we decided to stay and go to RDP? How have our writing skills improved since this was written? Do we have more clothes in the style we like? How are things with a pen pal? Hopefully we aren’t ghosting any we had. So far we’ve only ghosted a couple by accident. Oh! How is our acne? Has it cleared up a bit? I remember that we hated having it and it was one of our biggest insecurities. Anyways I’m reaching the end of this page so I guess this is the end of the letter. Wait never mind I can continue writing on the back. How is the bed we got off marketplace doing? I’m sure it’s still doing well hopefully. Are our wrists really as small as they used to be? We still have that watch that fits from our childhood right? I hope we didn’t have to go looking for a new one. If we haven’t learnt how to make sushi yet we should do that in the year that follows us receiving this letter. Well bye for now, looking forward to reading this when I’m 19.
Love,
Your past self P
Ps. We still go by that name right?
