A letter from 15 year old you.

Time Travelled — about 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I’ve been struggling on what to say to you, but I’ll start this from a place of hope. I’m writing this to you from a time of struggle and pain. it's just 9 days before my 16th birthday and I can't stop being sad about it knowing I won't have a big party like others do, it hurts for nobody to put any effort into me. You should be reading this at 17 years old on your birthday, I hope your 17th is better than your 16th. I have so many hopes for you from this time. I hope you’re graduated early and I hope you’ve overcome the immense amount of heartbreak that you have been put through. I hope you have found somebody that loves you more than life, to fill that void of your mother never loving you. go live your life and live it with purpose. Don’t wait on anything and don’t wait till it’s too late to do anything, life is too short, and it seems that we don't know that until it's too late and we don't know what we have until it's gone. you need to walk or even run towards what you want because it seems that the life that you wish for requires you to go for it instead of waiting for its arrival. don't live your life in fear or regret, because it's a choice, and everyday you can choose to focus on your gifts instead of your misfortunes, you can choose to turn your worst tragedies into your greatest blessings, and you can choose to love instead of hate. you need to look to your future instead of your past and make every second, every minute, and every day count. stay loyal to yourself and stop trying to make everybody else happy with you. do what makes you happy and live your life the best you can. you are an outstanding human being and I don't know what the future holds but u do know that there is no future if you don't take care of the present, live in the present and enjoy youth. continue to be the overzealous, emotional and empathetic person that you are. never stop working on yourself and be that light for other people because what you do today matters, remind yourself to be a good person always. I hope you are happy, in every aspect of life. And if you aren’t, remember. This is just a blip, your life will change.. if you just hold on for one more minute. from the one who loves you most -you
