Dear FutureMe, Ever since I bought my house in 2023, I have been STRESSED about money. Every trip I take, is a trip that I feel like I can't afford. I used to wonder how people ever lived pay check to pay check. And yet here I am doing it myself. I feel out of control and that I am terrible with money. and I hate that because it leaves me feeling like a failure. I hope by the time I receive this letter that I have paid off a good chunk of my credit card debt, and have been able to build up an emergency fund along with learning how to spend in alignment with my lifestyle! I am so excited to start the Wealth Accelerator Program and learn about taking control of my finances! I am confident that it will be life changing! I can't wait to see where I am in 6 months and how much I have learned! I am hoping by then, I can have a washer go out or have a pup vet emergency , and be able to handle it without stress because I now control my money instead of it controlling me! Or that I can plan a girl's trip and not spend the time leading up to it stressing about how I am going to manage missing one week of work. Or if my sister is struggling, I can Venmo her some cash because I have enough money in my account. I just want to be in control of my finances. And loving my life instead of stressing about my life.
