Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hello from August 5th, wait - no... it's the 6th. I meant to write this on the 3rd, but alas, time moves on, slips away, and I've come to learn I cannot grasp it back. So today will have to do just fine. Happy Birthday! A few thoughts. Wow, how far you've come. First of all - I went to my first ever sound bath (on the beach) last night. I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I received wasn't even within the realm of expectations. Joy. Delight. Did this experience reflect what was already within me? My state? Me? Secondly - It was just your birthday. Your mother in law and best friend called. No others. Your mother didn't call, so you called her instead, because, quite frankly, you're too old for this! You've made a mental note to call EVERYONE on their birthdays from here on out! It's nice to hear a voice, to know you're considered, to have a moment carved out of someone else's day to say just hey. You can be the bigger person and feel great about that. You are not defined by anyone else's ability to call their own daughters on their birthdays. Right?! Right. Anyhow, Happy Birthday! You walked into this new decade with a successful business that you considered having reached "failure" since you have completely sold out and have nothing to sell!!! It's not a failure, but a very uncomfortable squeeze into growth. This year will be about scaling, ease, joy, and comfort. Both with the business and personally. Because why the hell else would you make it to 40 and stay the same?! Speaking of - leaving alcohol in the dust was the best gift you gave yourself in May of 2024. I hope you never forget how great you feel without loser juice in your life! Ok, love you! Truly. And maybe for the first time ever. You!
