Dear FutureMe, Hey girl. Wow you made it. you’re officially a college student and a nursing major, just like you dreamed. Right now as i’m writing this, im a senior at Prosser Career Academy, full of hope, nerves, and excitement about everything thats coming next. i’m proud of how far i’ve come, and i hope that your proud too. When your ready this, i want you to remember why you chose this path. you chose nursing because you care deeply. You’re strong, nurturing, and have always had a heart for helping people. Don’t let the stress or pressure of school make sure you forget the passion behind it all. This is your calling. I know there will be challenges, tough classes, long nights, maybe even moments where you doubt yourself. But i hope you kept pushing, stayed true to yourself, and surrounded yourself with people who lift you up. If you’re tired right now, take a breath. You deserve rest but don’t give up. I also hope you kept your peace. You promised to protect your energy, focus on your growth, and not settle for anything less than what you deserve- in relationships, friendships, or opportunities. Keep that same mindset. If someones in your life, i hope they respect you, support you, and match your energy. And if someone walked away, i hope you let them, knowing you’ve got too much going for yourself to be stuck in the past.
