Time Travelling — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Supercuts has a deal (well, some company named Moxie out of Walnut Creek) where I can sign up for a monthly subscription: $33 per month for as many haircuts as I want. Really, it’s $23 per month plus $10 for my beard. Anyway, it is a decent deal: add $10 per tip times 4, and that’s $73 per month. $73 per month divided by 31 days is $16.5 per week. That’s way better than what I was paying before. So that’s the good. The bad is their software. Moxie didn’t figure out how to sign me up for both haircuts and beard; the first email won and the other failed to add because my email address had already been claimed. So now, when I try to go into the account and look at my transactions, I can only see one (the beard subscription). It turns out that the app and website for placing reservations at the store are not done by Moxie, they are done by Regis. The first annoying thing with the Regis account registration was that I tried to use a nice long password. That’s a nope because their programmers are not smart. Now for the last five days, I’ve been trying to use their website and app and such and they do not have a connection to the store to be able to let me check in. In theory I was supposed to be able to see how busy the store was and place a reservation for a particular time. The reality is no reservations work at all. So I have to show up at the store and wait in line as if there were no app or reservation feature at all. Still, financially it is a good deal, and it’s really nice to know that I can drop in for a haircut at any time I want.
