Dear Future Me, Greetings, King David, I hope this message finds you in good health and strong spirit, by the grace of God. I trust that you are now experiencing the results of your prayers, commitments, and efforts from the beginning of this month, with the help of God and your own discipline. These were the goals you set for yourself in the month of August: 1. Complete the ALX program and graduate. This is the single most important goal of the month. It must be achieved under all circumstances. No matter what else you have accomplished, if you did not complete ALX, then the entire month is to be considered a failure. This milestone is crucial for your personal and professional development. If you have completed it, I sincerely congratulate you. I truly hope and believe that you followed through and succeeded. It is extremely important. 2. Secure two additional clients for your technology business. I hope you have expanded your business and managed to bring in at least two new clients. This would represent meaningful progress toward building a sustainable and profitable enterprise. 3. Deepen your technical knowledge and skills. You committed to enhancing your understanding of Django ORM and Django REST Framework—especially focusing on serializers, the views.py file, generic views, permissions, and authentication—as well as Docker, Kubernetes, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for secure API development. I hope you have studied these tools with focus and are now more capable and confident in your software development work. 3. Complete the work assigned by Ian and Kariuki. Regardless of compensation, you committed to completing their tasks. I trust you handled these responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and quality, and delivered the results as promised. If you have achieved all of these, then you deserve an A. If you have achieved Objective Number 1 and any of the others, you are above average. However, if you did not achieve Objective Number 1, please remember how important it is. It has been three years since you began your journey in software development, and obtaining the certificate is a critical milestone. Stay disciplined, faithful, and committed to your calling.
