Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I hope you’re smiling right now — not just with your lips, but with your heart. I hope you’re waking up every day with peace, with purpose, and with joy in your soul. I hope your days are calm, your nights are restful, and your dreams are being lived out — not just chased. Right now, as I write this, things are hard. I feel lost. I feel tired. I feel like I’m carrying more weight than I was meant to. Every day feels like a battle between pushing through and wanting to give up. But I’m still here — and that means something. You are living the life that I kept praying for. Maybe not the exact one I imagined, but one that feels right. One that finally feels like home — where your soul rests and your heart feels full. I hope you’ve found the job that makes you feel seen, valued, and appreciated. One that brings out your strengths, that challenges you in the best ways, and that surrounds you with people who lift you up. I hope you’ve built a routine that doesn’t drain you, but energizes you — one that reflects the life you designed, not the one you felt forced into. If you’re reading this and you’re already there — thank you for not giving up. Thank you for fighting through the days I didn’t think I could. Thank you for believing in us, even when I doubted everything. You are proof that waiting, trusting, and hoping was never in vain. But if you’re still figuring it out, that’s okay too. Just don’t forget this: You are not behind. You are not broken. You are exactly where you are meant to be. Keep choosing what’s best for your peace. Keep honoring your heart. Keep walking in faith — even when the road is unclear. You have every right to be proud of how far you’ve come — and even more reason to keep going. With love, hope, and endless belief in you, Your past self — the one who never stopped praying for better days. -R
