A letter from Jul 25, 2025

Hey Alanah this is you telling you that everything will be okay. It will always end up okay. You’re in Nunavut right now you’ve just finished your first week up here and three more to go. Change is the best thing ever. You grew up being scared that nothing was going to change while others were afraid of change and here you are being the change. God has brought you to such a wonderful place and you get to experience so many scary and intimidating things. Which help you grow and I’m so excited to continue this journey and do as many things as possible. Go out of your comfort zone and just live!! Experience the **** out of your existence. Breaking up with Ethan is hard, breaking up with the guy you wanted to love will always be hard but futures change and life is just a bunch of ebbs and flows that you can and will survive, everyting that you ever thought you wouldn’t survive, you ended up surviving. You have people who care for you and wonderful coworkers who are strangers but still end up being there for you. Carlos has been such a kind shoulder to lean on. Thank you Jesus for all the people I’m meeting up here. If I have one thing to ask of you is that you never stop doing things that scare you. Get out of that comfort zone. Your first job is in Nunavut for crying out loud!! You have a fifo job for a gold mine bro oh my word wow. You never even thought you’d get anywhere and here you are working hard and making good money. You’re first pay is tomorrow ahhh that’s so exciting. Be smart with your money and travel!! Put it to experiences. You have one life make the most of it!! Be kind and work hard. I’m so in love with life even if I’m sad about Ethan. You will be okay. You will survive and Gods love will lead you. I read today in my bible that God didn’t give you the Holy Spirit to feel something but to accomplish something and the Lord knows you ARE accomplishing amazing things right now. Living with Julian and Jenny has been so wonderful and such a life changing experience and you get to renovate a house haha. Sure doing things for the first time will be hard but they won’t get easy without actually doing them and who ever got anywhere without doing hard things. No one. I’m so proud of you and I hope that you remember how wonder filled life truly is. I love you and I believe in you. You’ve got this and you don’t need a relationship or a social media witness to live a good, fulfilling and adventurous life. Share Gods love and take care of your body. He loves you and I love you.
