A letter from Jul 18, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Hello, Shiela! It’s a little bit rainy while you're writing this down, and Jha just said his good night to you. Now... What you feel right now is that you’re torn. You don’t know what to do with your life, and you are doubting yourself whether you’ll pass The UPCAT and get into UP. Honestly, we both know that it was never your plan to be there, wala nga tayong idea that we went like “ah, gano’n pala ‘yun?” when we figured that that’s how college life will be. But fast forward, alam mo na. That college, will not be easy. Syempre, una pa lang, you don’t know what course you should take— well you want to pursue BSEd, but do you? really? or you judt don’t have a choice? of course you don't know, you’re not even sure what Major you’re going to take. Pero hindi pa naman katapusan ng mundo dahil lang hindi mo alam kung ano ang kurso mo. Naniniwala ako that everything happens for a reason. That’s the sole reason why you keep on going, right? Because I know that you got this! No matter how many rocks life throw at you, I know that you’re going to stand up and get up with the bruises that made you stronger. I believe in you, and I always do. Just keep on trying and be kind to yourself, that’s how we’re going to make it. 😁 Sana lang, kung dumating ‘yung oras that you feel that the world has turn it backs on you, is that you still got yourself, you still have me. This version of you, passing this message for you a year later is always with you, and that I would never leave you. Because I believe in you. Just don’t forget what life has taught you, and that it's not your fault for not figuring things out. It’s your first time living, and it's okay. It will be okay. I love you, Shiela.
