Time Travelled — about 1 year

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, results, results, results. this is on results day '26: august 20th i would have written this just over a year ago, as the girl who just finished the first mocks in her life but im not here to focus on grades and all that, its all just numbers on papers. (i hope you understand that better than i do now) im here to ask you to reflect on your final year in high school, are you leaving with no regrets? did we cry buckets on leavers day? did we ever finish that "crowning y11" tiktok? theres so much i could ask you, but i suppose it all boils down to this: did you enjoy it? year 10 was a tumultuous year, lots happened and a myriad of friendships both gained and lost, it ended on a good note, and i hope weve learnt from these experiences. and please, PLEASE never forget why you chose medicine and pharmacy so early on. not because you were good at it, but because you genuinely loved it. good luck on all of your future endeavours, alevels, university, and most importantly, enjoy life. we're all living for the first time. 「人生只得一次為自己瘋狂」💚 to the 16 year old valerie in 2026, please be a little kinder to yourself and to others. enjoy life as it is, and sometimes things just go the way they do, people will come & go. im infinitely proud of everything you've managed to act
