Time Travelled — 10 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hello! Happy 20th birthday. Today is the 14th of July. We just got back from Inverell, because we had to take Jandamarra into the vet clinic to check him because of a high temperature and a runny nose. I also rode Jessie this afternoon, and I think he may have done his first flying lead change on command. I’m thinking of selling him maybe this Summer coming, Donnie thinks I will get $8,000 for him, but I would like $15,000. Or at least $12,000, especially if he can lead change now. Do you still have him? And how about spark? I haven’t put saddle on Spark yet, but I would like to break him in before I sell him. 4-5k would be nice. Today was his first real day out with the other horses. Juniper, I suppose will be broken in by the time you get this message. I lunged her around a little bit yesterday, And she seems like she is going to be just as lazy as Jandamarra. At the moment I plan on keeping her because she has a good temperament and might be good for breeding quiet foals. Jandamarra needs to work on moving fast. He’s not too bad in a straight line but he seems to struggle going fast while he’s turning. maybe he just needs more muscle and balance. His steering isn’t too good either. How is he going now? Last night, I got a message from Maria. She invited me to stay for a few months with them. So far I’ve only done a week there. I think it could be good, but I’m a little bit worried about TAFE and how I’m going to get spark trained. Currently art fight is on. It’s about halfway through and I’m about to start on a drawing of a black dinosaur. In one weeks time me and Gabbie are going to the Solomon Islands. I don’t really know what they have planned for us there yet it would be nice to do some snorkelling and the truck ride through the country Back roads sounds fun. straight after I get back from the Solomon Islands, I have to go into TAFE for the first time. Then that weekend is the reining nationals, there is talk that they might put bull riding on as well. Gabbie said she wants to come to that and watch and she also said she would like to bring her horse. Yesterday I showed her my land for the first time. My trees don’t look very happy. I won’t be able to tell if they are dead or alive until spring comes. It would be nice to get some water on my land so that I could move some of the horses out there, but the back fence isn’t done either. Me and Gabbie are also thinking about doing an endurance ride in September and maybe doing the Ebor camp in September. I’ll have to figure out how to get some shoes on Jessie if I want to do the endurance ride. I’m still hoping to go overseas to America maybe, or Canada And be a working student or intern for a Reiner. So far the only contact I have is Terry, who does Mustang makeovers and breaks in horses. How close are you to being able to do this? I hope it is still a goal of yours. Mum and I also plan on going to Mongolia around the time of your birthday or just before. Nothing is booked yet. it would be cool to ride reindeer and see the prezwalski horses. Mum has not done much riding yet, so we shall see how it goes.
