Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, I’m writing this message on a “not so special day” as it’s not New Year’s, Christmas, or our birthday, but I felt that you might need it rn.. First, I’m so proud of you, no matter where you are right now. I hope you’ve graduated. that’s a huge achievement! I know you might be confused whether to pursue a PhD or to find a job and stay independent. I really hope you chose to be independent and are working in a job that brings you fulfillment. If you’re making your own money, I couldn’t be prouder. I know that as you get older, responsibilities increase, and you have to pay your own bills. I hope you’re able to handle all that with grace. If you’re with your fiancé or husband now, I’m happy for you. If not, I still want you to know that I’m proud of you for everything you’ve accomplished. I hope you’re taking good care of yourself, even if it means you gained some weight during stressful times like thesis pressure. Remember, it’s all part of the journey. Don’t be afraid to face responsibilities, even if the idea of starting work life seems daunting. You can do it, I believe in you. Take care of yourself, and remember that everything will get better as long as you have a plan and keep moving forward. And Don’t focus on what you can’t control. I love you very much, and I’m proud of you. Best, You
