Dear FutureMe,
Dear Future Me,
It's February now, and you’re likely deep in the final stretch of your data science journey, your final project, the culmination of months of growth, persistence, and learning.
Right now, as I write this in July, I’m filled with excitement. It’s a new path, one that’s completely different from what I’ve done before. But I believe in this. I believe in you. This isn’t just a career move it’s a life shift. And I’m doing it with full heart and purpose, not only for myself but as a living example for Pia. I want her to see, through me, that everything is possible. That it’s never too late to grow, to take on a challenge, to bet on yourself.
Maybe right now the work feels heavy. Maybe the doubts are louder than you expected. But let me remind you: you chose this. And you chose it out of love—for your future, for your family, for your daughter. That kind of motivation can move mountains.
This project might be hard but you’re harder to break. You’ve pushed through the unfamiliar, asked the right questions, leaned in when others might have stepped back. So take a breath. Celebrate how far you’ve come, even if it doesn’t feel like the finish line yet.
You will finish this.
You will be proud.
And it will be worth it.
With all the belief and love I have now,
—Your past self, July 2025
P.S. Give Pia a big hug. She’s going to be so proud of her mamá.
