A letter from June 27th, 2025

Dear Sensei,    you just had your surgery today and you were in A LOT of pain, it's heartbreaking seeing you in pain. you may have overdone the pain meds though. you went to the bathroom and kept falling asleep on the toilet after about an hour you tried to get up and your legs gave out (just like the first surgery) and I had to call EMS. I don't know that I've ever been so scared. you kept falling asleep or passing out and some of the **** you said was funny but after trying to help you up for another hour I called Dixie and we decided to call 911. You of course when they could get your attention tried to make jokes (no thank you ing you said made much sense though) your knocked out next to me in the bed. Your princess and the pea thing not even an issue as blankets are all bunched up. I don't think I'll sleep tonight because I need to watch you (my eyes are drooping as I say this) Ypu made a comment, you were mad at yourself for being "weak" that is the silliest thing you've ever said. you are the strongest person I know. That I've ever known. I love you mom, more than words could ever say.
