Dear FutureMe, I learned that executive function is a combination of things such as organization, focus, and motivation. Some kids can be developed physically, but not mentally and vice-versa. The frontal lobe does not fully develop until early adulthood. Things I will try are implementing the checklists shared and also some of the questioning prompts into my morning meetings.
