Dear Future Joy, If you’re getting this email I want you to answer the same questions and then send another email to your future self with the answers. So, we can document our progress. 1. What was your highlight this past year? In this past year we convocated from Caleb University as the Best Graduating Student of the Class of 2024, Trailblazer Set. Another highlight would definitely be deciding to finally take that leap with God. 🥹 The sales parJoie has made in just 3 months is more than we’ve done in the last 3 years combined. Starting @toallthe.saints as the believers daily dose of God’s love as revealed by the Scriptures. Moving past the breakup with Ayo has to be added as a highlight cause we never saw that one coming, lol. Some other highlights would be how we’re looking to monetize other skills we have like designing on Canva and even modeling. Like how did we find our way back to modeling after all this time? 😅🥹 2. What is a significant lesson you learnt this past year? Working on oneself takes time, a lot of time and patience. And it’s an actual WORKKK. Life almost never goes according to how one plans. Like us thinking we’d get work right after school and then start NYSC service by December 2024. And then us thinking Ayo and I would be back together by PCM 2025. 🤣🫠 3. What new skills did you learn this past year? Well does us starting to take Data Analysis courses counts as a skill ?! 😅 We’re still contemplating driving and baking as things to learn. 4. What do you want to have accomplished by this same time next year? Having a steady paying job. Maybe corporate work like we’ve always dreamed. Having brought 5 people to GASYS and have them as consistent members. 5. Any notes to your future self? I hope we’re still walking as consistently with God as we’re trying to do right now. 🥹 I hope your relationship with people is also so much better? Social skills and empathy wise? Are we still single ?! 🌚
