Peaceful right?

Dear Future Andrew, Congrats on finishing the first year of IBDP! I hope you are doing well and not stressed over that last year of IBDP coming up. I think you will forget this moment, this version of Andrew, who is very different from the present Andrew. Anyways, I have prom soon, and I'm looking fresh. I even have somebody to go with! I got a fresh new haircut, a fresh new suit and a fresh new watch. Life currently seems pretty chill and exciting as assessments and exams are over! However, my grades say otherwise. Sometimes, I judge myself too much in a negative way. Sometimes, I wish I were a better version of myself, with better grades, better looks, and better health, and sometimes I think I am not good enough. Right now, I am lost, grades are poor, subject choices for next year are not decided, and I am scared. I hope this version of myself reading this in 1 year can be different and be a better and new me. I hope you have life all figured out and feel confident in it. I hope for the best for you, Andrew! no matter what happens in 1 year's time, the big and small changes, I am you and I am with you! I've been with and in you for the last 15 years, we faced many challenges together, exams, assessments, late-night studying, and job internships. I can go on and on about the challenges we faced. My point is to say that we did everything together, and we can finish this remaining 1 year of IBDP on a good note. For future me, I hope you take some rest, relax and not worry about the future, I know you are a very stressful person and always want the best, but taking breaks is always good, and remember to trust in God's plan. I know this seems corny and weird, even current me is struggling with this, finding God and trusting him. But no matter what stage you are at in 1 year, I hope you continue and search for him as he is the way, the truth, and the life. To conclude, I hope you finish this last year on a good note and get your life together and be confident in it. I know there will be many ups and downs, good and bad moments, but these moments come and go. Look, you probably forgot current, I just failed our final science myp exam (I got a 3). Anyways, I am not only with you. Dad, Mom, Matthew, Nathan, Auntie Icha, classmates, and friends will always support you. Reach out if you need it. One more thing before I sign off: Carpe Diem, seize the day. Focus more on the future and give little and less thought to the future. Remember, moments come and go. Enjoy that last sweet year of IBDP! You rock, Andrew Chan June 10th 2025
