Dear FutureMe,
I hope when you read this message someday you are happy, healthy and finally home.
Right now, I am far away from my family and working hard in Germany as an OFW. the days are long, the work is not easy and sometimes I feel tired and alone. But I remind myself everyday why I am doing this-- for my dreams, for my family and for the future I want to build.
there are times I want to give up, but I keep going. I've learned to be strong, to smile even when I miss home and to believe that all sacrifices will be worth it.
Future Me, I hope you are proud of how far you've come. I hope you never forget the struggles, but more importantly, I hope you remember the courage it took to keep going.
Don't forget where you started and don't forget to say thank you to the person you once were--- the one who never gave up even it was so hard.
With hope and love,
Romina
