Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear Miranda, I know this fight has been long and heavy. You’ve carried shame that feels like a storm inside you—sometimes loud, sometimes silent—but always there. You feel like you’re trapped between what your heart wants to do and what you know is right. You feel like you’ve messed up too many times, like you’re stuck in a cycle you can’t break. But here’s the truth you need to hold tight: God is not done with you. He sees every part of your struggle and loves you fiercely anyway. The Bible says, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 Your weaknesses don’t disqualify you. They invite God’s power in deeper. And remember, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1 You are not condemned. You are not defined by the shame. You are set free through Jesus. When lust tries to shout, remind yourself: “I have the strength to say no because God is with me.” — (Inspired by Philippians 4:13) You are a daughter of the King. You have been washed clean by His blood, and His love for you is wild and unshakeable. So when the shame creeps in and tells you lies like “you’re dirty” or “you’re a failure”, you fight back with the truth: I am loved, deeply and completely. I am chosen, even in my brokenness. I am growing, even when I stumble. I am not alone, because God walks beside me every step. This journey is not about being perfect — it’s about being honest, persistent, and leaning on God’s strength. You’re already showing incredible courage just by facing this head-on. Hold on to God’s promises. Let His Word be your armor and your peace. You’ve got this, Miranda. I believe in you, and more importantly, God believes in you — enough to fight for you every single day. With love and hope, Miranda
