Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, Let me give you some advice, based on who I know you are! Remember that you can change and grow. Listen more. While walking your students back to your desk, ask them how they are feeling today. So much of their concentration depends on this. When you get to the desk, do a quick grounding exercise and give them a chance to check their readiness. Check your own readiness! At the end of each day, rate yourself regarding your patience level, your ability to keep boundaries in check, the quality of the intervention you delivered. Try not to interrupt the people around you. Teachers have 1,000 servings on their plates -- that includes your internal Coach. If you have a question, it is kinder to email them than to interrupt their day. Love yourself and enjoy the children. Remember that it is kind to both hold them to account and be understanding about their mood in the moment. Do the same for yourself. Now that you've received this letter, how do you think you're doing? Me
