Dear Future Me,
I don't know what life has thrown at you, but I am sure that whatever it has thrown at you, you've overcome. Currently, you have plans to go to online college for a year while working full-time. Your father passed away 3 months ago, and you're dealing with your emotions regarding him and the massive amount of debt he left behind. Your mom says they can't hold you responsible for his debt, but you aren't sure. So, you plan to work as much as possible. You want to be a pediatrician, but it seems so unlikely that a girl with two parents who were unable to attain a bachelor's degree will be able to get a medical degree. The cost also seems enormous, but you truly want to help children as much as possible. Perhaps, you are a preschool teacher instead like you always dreamed of. Right now, the economy is unstable and teachers are severely underpaid, but I hope for your sake that the economy has stabilized and teachers are paid what they are due. Remember to collect memories, not things. Hold fast to your faith, family, and friends. Keep growing and know that you always have at least one person who looks up to you.
