Dear Future Me,
It’s morning, and you're currently on the LRT. It's nice that you’re a bit early on your way to work today. You used to be late often—even for job interviews. It’s a miracle, isn’t it? I hope you continue doing great things.
Right now, you're overthinking your life. You’re thinking of quitting your job because you feel insecure and believe you're meant for something bigger—like your dream companies: Unilever, Coca-Cola, or P&G.
You’re questioning if you're on the right path. You're unsure of what the future holds. Just last night, you applied for over 50 jobs because you're hoping to find one that will give you a sense of stability and security.
You're starting to consider creating content because you want to be known. I hope by the time you read this, you're already in the spotlight—in a positive way. You have followers and fans, and maybe even your first 1M views. You’re creating educational content based on the lessons you’ve learned throughout your journey.
You're also dreaming of starting a business, inspired by Troy (your boss) and John Dy. You believe that building your own venture could be more fulfilling and sustainable than working a 9-to-5 job. You’ve even envisioned starting a coffee shop × tapsilugan with your Ate, inspired by Urban Chick Maginhawa.
You feel uncertain about your life right now. You feel unmotivated. You feel lost.
But I hope by the time you read this, you're happy and feel contented with your life. You're in your dream position, in a place and environment where you thrive. You’re doing well, motivated, and have achieved your dreams—not just for yourself, but also for the people you love. You feel safe and assured that you’re finally on the right path. It may not be perfect, but at least now, you're certain about where you’re headed.
You’re doing good, Drei. Always.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
