A letter from May 31, 2025

Dear Katherine, Hi!!!! What's up? I just finished 8th grade yesterday so today is my first day of summer! I'm assuming right now is around the time you're finishing up 9th. So how was it? My main fears right now are doing bad in classes, homework piling up, getting burned out, getting bullied, not having good friends, not being able to live my elementary school reputation down, and Lyla. Just Lyla. I've seen Lyla in Randall's and just around the neighborhood and she's recognized me and laughed at me and made fun of me. So she clearly remembers me and I'm scared she's gonna make my life miserable. Hopefully not though. Anyway, I wish you the best! I know you'll do great! Love you!!!!!!!!! 😘😍🥰🫶🩷 - Katherine
