Dear future me, it actually gets better, u know? and i know you know. because everything gets better. everything has gotten better.
i'm assuming you just finished your 5th year? how's the future looking like? did you officially become an MD now? maybe you're in a completely different country and you didn't want/get to finish the 5th year. but just know that as stressed we are of not wanting to disappoint our parents, its your life to live. have fun. love someone. have freaky time by yourself. solve sudokus by the beach. get scared over bugs. make tons of money and dont spend it all on food immediately. steal a car. go to las vegas. oh, gigolo pool.
I know you're afraid. what if he dies, finally succumbs to cancer. what if she loses her mind over it and have to move back with her. what if she loses her job. what if something happens to the little one. maybe it all has happened already. but you know very well that it gets better. i cannot tell you how and when, but i know.
you'll be where you want and who you want to be really soon. you are currently a 21 year old forced to go through med school starting at 16. you'll get over this, you're super young.
once you pack your bags and leave, you'll actually realize that you've got your whole life ahead of you.
bro thinks her life is over like bro... life is just starting.
