Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, This seventh grade year has been a blast with all of my teachers! Through the year, I have truly experienced exponential growth both physically and mentally. I have really learned how quick the school year goes by and the importance and joys of building strong friendships. Additionally, all my teachers have been supportive of my education and have wonderfully taught me about things ranging from music theory all the way to the renaissance and an iambic pentameter. One of my favorite memories from the school year was definitely performing at my band concerts, a place where I could play pieces I enjoy while hanging out with friends and listening to the melodious lyrical songs of my fellow band periods. Additionally, another great time during the school year was definitely during block schedule when I could watch movies in my history class. However, a time that wasn't necessarily the brightest but definitely worth remembering is the time when it became a very realistic reality of the Fremont teachers striking. The teachers argued for better healthcare and more pay, but luckily they won the debate and no strik was issued. Some things I currently value are playing pieces on my trumpet and going out to bike, really absorbing the sunlight while observing the beautiful trees dance to the spring breezes. Furthermore, I am very appreciative of all my school teachers and all the work they have put in to making this school year such an unforgettable one, from planning out every lesson to grading all our papers. Next year in eighth grade I hope to continue to get all A's while perhaps joining in more extra-curricular activities. Moreover, I am also very excited next year for the many exclusive eighth grade events such as carnivals and getting to go to the famous and fun filled aqua adventure water park! Although the school hasn't been all sunshines and daisies, I still would say that I have really enjoyed seventh grade and hope that eighth grade will be better! Something I learned from my year as a seventh grade student is to really push through any challenges since it eventually gets easier. I remember the first semester of school I felt as if school would never end and if I wouldn't make it to the end. However, slowly by slowly the days eventually got quicker and in what felt like a couple of weeks school was nearly over! I don't know what position I will be in one year from now but I hope that whatever kind of pickle I get myself into I will stay determined and push through the challenges, grasping on to the strong light of hope that stands out among the darkness. I know high school is also soon coming up but I want to remind you that growth can come from trying new things. Though I do feel a bit scared about high school, I think it is an important step in growing in life as you can now experience new and more mature things. Nevertheless, wherever you are in life next year, I just hope that you will never give up and jump over any hurdles that may come your way! I wish you good luck!
