A letter from May 21, 2025

hi. how'd you deal with annabelle's *****? aunt k's text came in-- yesterday, two days ago maybe; helped quite a bit. annie's not gone yet, but the vets (and parents) say she's not got long left. she comes home tomorrow-- thursday. does she live long enough to see me properly start the new meds? first dose is tomorrow morning, but i don't know yet if she's made it. you can't really write back, but if you could, please tell me she goes peacefully. much love, me.
