Dear FutureMe,
Hey, remember me? It's you from last year. Right now, I’m a bit more introverted, but I have money now, and I feel good about where I am in life. The thing that matters most to me right now is sleep. Some of my personal challenges include a lack of sleep and the constantly having to pay for gas.
For my senior year, I’d love to earn scholarships in both cross country and track, as well as academics. I also want to be more social and serve as a role model for others.
The most important people in my life are my family and friends because they’re always there for you and are your biggest supporters. In the future, I hope to make more friends and build stronger relationships with others. The best advice I can give is: “Shoot for the stars so that if you fall, you land on a cloud.”
Some of my best memories from this year include the cross country regional trip, the robotics state trip, and the time I dodged a golf ball Tanner hit, which Reed sent flying. I wish I had joined the golf team, and I’ve also learned that life is expensive, which has motivated me to save more.
Right now, I’m feeling tired and in need of more sleep. I fear losing the people I love or becoming a bad person. The things that make me happy are golfing (except for the putting part), Mr. Tom, and knowing that the Cowboys won’t win a Super Bowl with Jerry Jones as the owner.
