Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I’m sitting on the front porch drinking coffee out of my favorite bird mug and watching G hose off my slipper, just got back from dropping off Ea and Em at school then letting Becky out. It’s a good morning. A year from now, I hope you’re able to sit in your purple kitchen, with your new floors. I hope you’ve gone nearly screen-free and sugar and dye free. I hope you’ve been able to prioritize your family’s nutrition and well being. I hope you’ve applied for phase two of the PTA program and will be starting soon. I hope G’s year at home went well, and he’s kept his love of learning and animals, and you’ve found a smaller school for him that will continue to foster his spirit as he explores his world. I hope you’re happy, whether it’s with QT or not, but I hope it is. I hope you have a little garden area by the house, even if it’s just gravel and statues. I hope you’re reading the Bible and journaling. You’re always happier when you are. Remember that I love you, and that loving your children is always the best part of every day. D.R.
