Dear FutureMe,
Remember that negative self talk isn’t the only way to get through hard times. Using positive self talk is equally as effective in those **** times regardless of the odds.
“I’m not worth it” = “this ain’t ****”
“I suck”=“I’m more than capable”
“I’m an *******”=“I'm just honest”
I’m worth more than just my benefits and my money.
Remember that it is possible to change a behavior as long as those around me are supportive and I have a role model to follow.
Adelphi buddies (keep in touch)
Military buddies (don’t lose them)
John/Harold/Jose (ask for advice if needed)
Remember that I am not identified as just a solider/veteran
I am a college graduate, I am a son, a husband, a father, a role model to some and the future my family-line.
I have more to live for than just myself and there for to life than just the military
Remember our favorite saying and make sure to pass it along to those around us.
NEVER GIVE UP
KEEP PUSHING FOWARD
Hope by this time we are married or near it, and in ABSN school. WE GOT THIS
