Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, How are you, really? I hope you’re doing better now — not just on the outside, but deep down, where it really matters. I hope the weight on your chest feels a little lighter, that the nights don’t hurt as much, and that your smile is more real these days. I know you’ve been through a lot. I remember the confusion, the pain, the endless overthinking. That person… they drained you. You gave so much of yourself, even when you had almost nothing left. And still, you kept loving. That’s not weakness — that’s your strength. But I hope now, you’ve learned to love yourself just as fiercely. Do you still talk to the boy you once thought you could trust again? Did it work out, or did life take you somewhere new? Whatever happened, I hope you chose peace over chaos, honesty over promises, and growth over comfort. And if you’re still figuring it out — that’s okay too. You’re not behind. You’re just human. Are you still as soft-hearted? Still dreaming? Still writing little notes to yourself like this? I hope so. Don’t lose that. Life can get loud and cold, but your warmth is a gift. I hope school is going well. But even if it’s tough, I know you’re trying. You always do. Remember, your worth isn’t measured by grades or other people’s expectations — it’s in your heart, your resilience, your kindness. That’s what makes you you. Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re doing better than you think. And even if no one tells you this, I’m proud of you. We’re going to be okay. One day, all this mess will turn into something beautiful. Just keep going. With love, You.
