A letter from May 15, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Today it is thursday, may 25th, 2025. I usually take notes on mistakes I make. The mistake today is related to a purchase. I bought a drink I wanted to taste (it was being 'launched' or 'debuted'). The drink was Sprite with Askov. At the same day, hours before the purchase, I'd seen the product on sale at a supermarket near my house. But, what I failed was not checking the tabloid to see the price. I knew it was more expensive where I was buying, but did not check how much more expensive. I paid R$8,90. At the supermarket near my house, it was R$3,99. Almost 100% loss. And this in a time where I am dedicating a lot of effort in learning about investing. I dare you find an investment where you get 100% in a day. It is possible, but very difficult. Value more your money. Check before buying.
