Time Travelled — 12 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, It’s crazy to think that at this time next year, I’m going to be in California, just beginning my baking and pastry concentration. I’m hoping we’re in a more stable financial situation and that we have a good/better relationship with our sisters. I’m sure you remember, but right now one of my favorite moments from school has been hanging out with Luke and Shaye outside of class. Hopefully, we’re still good friends with them by the time you’re reading this. I hope we’ve made even more memories with them and continued to support each other through everything, both in and out of school. Having people like that around makes everything a little easier. Some advice I’d like to give to you is that it’s ok to take things slow and it's ok if you’re not at the place you want to be in life. I know that we can be really hard on ourselves about life and the future, but by this time, you’ll only be 21. Your life is just now getting started! Give yourself grace. Hopefully we’ve grown out of our overthinking stage, but I don’t have really high hopes for that haha. Still, maybe we’ve learned to manage it a bit better—or at least find ways to laugh through it. Seriously, though, I hope we have a better grasp on what we want to do after the CIA. I know I just went on about how it’s ok to not know, but that’s not to say that I don’t hope we have some ideas at least. I’m hoping we’re still passionate about chocolate work and confections! Maybe we’ve even done a cool internship or started networking more. Anyways, I don’t want to be on here writing this all day, but just remember to stay confident and true to yourself. Life is too short for self-doubt, so continue to stay strong and believe in yourself! Sincerely, Past TJ
