Dear Future Wren, Make sure you are reading this with Stella- no reading without her. Stella and I have just spent the last hour talking. I read through my old vent book from 2022 and she read some of her FutureMe letters, and here we are. (Go talk to her!!) As you know I'm writing this in mid May. I recently finished Matilda where I was the escapologist! I had a BLAST and have really been getting a foot in the door to the world of theatre. What other roles have you gotten to play? Anything surprising or any of your dream roles? Who were you in mean girls? I'll go back a bit into this year to remind you. Freshman year at Weymouth high- WOOF. Most of my classes are fine (although bio is hard and Mrs. Doyle for English SUCKS SO INCREDIBLY BAD BE SO GLAD YOU'RE FREE). I am close with Jess Harding (talk to her too) and Izzy DeMarco at school. Sharon/Logan annoys me to no end but I have yet to do anything about it. I feel somewhat bad, she's like a lost puppy that follows me around. It's just sad for both of us. I hope there is no one like that for you now but know that there probably is. Sorry bro that sucks. Are you working? You should go quit your job you degenerate (if you need to). The end of school is coming up. Oh my god you're half way done with high school. That's insane!! I got a donut this morning. This Friday I am hanging out with Charlie Cordner (Jayne and Piper are busy), are you still close with him? Probably. Are you on testosterone? I would like to start it but I'm also a bit worried about my voice changing, because it might affect my singing (for theatre) in ways I don't want/like. I have been pretty depressed this last winter, and am still dealing with it. Hopefully with summer on it's way the depression will be on its way out. You are probably fully aware of this but I have not had my first kiss yet. Have you? (If you haven't I WILL tomato you in the streets). Maybe you're dating someone! Please treat them well and go give them a little kiss if you are. If you're not dating anyone then bro what are you doing. **** good face card and for what. Ava is dating someone right now. I'm definitely at a point where it feels weird to have my friends dating people. You honestly probably still feel the same. It's ok, nothing to feel bad or ashamed about. What are you interested in? What shows and movies have you watched recently? What books have you read? What musicals/music are you into? I am currently OBSESSED with Newsies. I love sprace especially, and Racetrack has a special place in my heart. Do you still like Newsies? probably, if we're being honest. Was there a byler kiss in stranger things 5? I really hope so. You are probably coming up on AP exams, or have just finished them. Either way I'm sure you will do great! Have you been able to think more about colleges? I'm already worrying about them, but not too much. I think Columbia would be my top choice, I just need to live in a city. I'm sure that Trump has done a million more terrifying and horrible things, but keep your head up and stay strong. They cannot knock you down unless you let them, so don't you dare let them. Tell mama and dad you love them, and give them a hug. They do so much for us so make sure they know how much we appreciate it. I love Stella so much. I know you are reading this with her and are probably embarrassed or whatever, but it's true! She is the best friend I could have ever asked for, so give her some love! She is the most funny and understanding person I know and I'm so grateful that I get to be her best friend.
