A letter from May 14, 2025

Dear FutureMe, Are you in college yet? How's Mama's debt goin'? How's the phone addiction and the whole digital minimalism goin'? How's your French and Arabic? I've made the decision not to attend college this year cuz Mama's too deep in debt. Figured it out too late to know I couldn't attend college, but the actual too-late would be if I was already in college. So, fine enough. I've been detoxing. I've got a plan for French but my Arabic is still on hold until further notice. I do hope I acquire a new skill that I can do on my laptop; would be cool if I knew a programming language. Regardless of the above things, I will still love you if you failed. You'll need love the most if you feel like a failure. Then, you rise up the **** again.
