A letter from May 11th, 2025

Time Travelling — 6 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe,
Life has been hard recently, you've been struggling with work/life balance and keeping up with habits you used to have and that's causing mental health struggles. You just cleaned the house and it feels really good. You're writing this letter in hopes of this being the start of a positive change for yourself.
My goals as of today include 1. Re-establish cleaning routines 2. Spend less money on take out.. START COOKING AT HOME AGAIN3. Build enjoyable exercise into my routine (yoga, walks, swimming, etc.)4. Set aside self care time 1 day per week. 5. Keep up on work during work hours so I'm able to enjoy my time after work. ASK FOR HELP WHEN I NEED IT!
I know you/I can do this, we've done it before and can do it again. When you get this letter look back on those goals and ask yourself:
-Did I accomplish all my goals?-Is there any areas I could still improve?-Is there any new goals I could add?
Take some time to reflect, be grateful for what you did accomplish and give yourself grace to try again for things you're still needing to improve.
Life is already hard, don't be so hard on yourself.
Sending love and hugs from your past self.
