A letter from May 12, 2025

Dear FutureMe, if you got with eli, good job! he is a goo dkid..so far. is he still wearing that bracelet you got him? do you still have his hoodie? you better. he was the first guy you ever received a hoodie from. and you guy slowdanced. you better remember that. also, am i skinny now? i know im not fat..but im def not skinny. hows mom? and dad? most importantly, hows school? your in highschool, and i bet you forgot i wrote this to you. stupid head. how are we? are we okay? (really okay?) did therapy ever happen? mom talked about it, but i havent gone as of now.. do i really need it? prob.. sooooo...got a job? with the amount of money you spend...yeesh...you better have one. so Elijah Boateng, huh? did he get a glowup? be so for real. hey, you know that green notebook we wrote in for like over a year? go back and read a few pages..right now. see how we have grown, how many prayers God has answered. you'll be amazed i bet. soooooooooo..... your, what? 15/16 now? dang. driving a car yet? big sissy. dont worry about the driver test, you'll pass if you focus. also start saving up!!! i want my dream car (mustang, corvette, etc...) obviously get some accessories for it too. gott be cutesie. oh dang. i forgot. Delaney would be out of the house by then, huh? off to college...are you lonely without her? does it suck?... shes either in florida engaged to nathan, orrrr...actually idk what else.. so i have my science SOL tomorrow..wish me luck I guess. but you already know what we got on it..lol.. you have provably changed so much, your hair is prolly different, your style is, your room, etc...are we even the same person anymore? are you happy right now?..because right now for me, its a lil hard. school days are long, and i hate my body. i feel insecure all the time. i hope we are confident now...anyways. eli is gone for the whole summer, and since im grounded without a phone, (speaking of...got a phone yet????) im gonna have to write him letters....yikes. not awkward at all. the Busch Gardens trip is next week...yay.. mmmkay thats it. remember you are loved!!!! -syd
