A letter from May 11, 2025

GCSEs are starting tomorrow. Or, technically, in 9 hours and roughly 40 minutes, depending on how fast I write. I'm still bad at writing letters, btw. I looked at my old ones and... yikes! I think this sends on results day? Not sure. According to BBC bitesize results day is the day you're getting this but, BBC bitesize can be wrong sometimes. Chalk it up to human error, but I don't trust human error. I hope everything turns out fine. Remember that even if you don't get the results you wanted, these are the results that you got, and we have to make do with what we have! Of course, if you get a 5 or lower in a subject, resit it. If you get anything higher, be grateful! You may not be a star, but you're alive, and we needn't be stars to survive. I know you want this, though, I know you want it more than anything. I want it too. I want it like a starving lion wants a half-eaten corpse. It's not what I need, but it'll keep me alive. Something fun I just thought of to do is predictions, so here are my predictions: 9s: Physics 8s: Maths, Biology, Comp Sci 7s: Eng Lit, Eng Lang, Chemistry 6s: RE, Photography I hope we get higher than that, duh! But if those are the grades we come out with, I'll be proud and I'll be happy. I love you man. No one else says it, apart from Eli which is soso because yes I love you too but also love from you doesn't taste as sweet as it used to, so. I love you. Good luck.
